I am watching hunter x hunter because it is my former roommate's favorite and because youtube has been showing me clips of it.

It's been really fun! I can't recommend it to anyone who wouldn't ever want to watch something for kids. I watch it on 1.67x speed.

Currently I'm on episode 93, which is during the controversial “Chimera Ant” arc.

Overall, I've been very entertained. While watching, I completely forget about the sorrow and dread that has been haunting me all day in this tumultuous period. It's also interesting to see how clearly influential this work has been. For example Tower of God is so clearly using HxH as a template.

I of course identify most with Gon.
